Joan Fox and her Campaigner's German Shepherds kennel have
come to be synonymous with outstanding quality marked by soundness and
strength of character.
Over 90 US AKC CH.s have been bred or owned by the kennel.
A small breeding program of one or two litters a year has
utilized the best quality available starting with a BIF from the first
litter and the ownership of a
US
. Fut. and US. Mat. Vix., as dam of the next few, was a positive start
and the direction has always
been to settle for nothing less than this level of quality. Along the
way, Best In Show dogs, US Nat. Mat/Fut titled dogs, numerous ROM's and
Sel's , have been bred, owned and co-owned. Proudly, many other dogs
have been utilized by various police departments in
Ohio
. None of this is important though without healthy dogs that make
satisfying family pets and many have been utilized in performance
venues. The show dog must be, first of all, a pet and the sacrifice of
correct type and soundness whether mental or physical for sidegait has
never been practiced.
The purchase of a young puppy that became a US GR. VIX.
ROM, and her US Sel. ROM daughter, set a bloodline that has carried the
Campaigner's name even further and in recent years, the breeding that
produced the Most Title Dog in Breed History and his progeny have set a
type and strength that is seen today in the ring through his
grandchildren now winning top honors.
